I mean, what it really brings is +2/+0 in exchange for that downside, but players don't see that unless you write it out.<br /><br />The downside itself is kind of weird too. This effect is usually quite weak, but the flexibility of using it to save your own attackers, or to selectively blank your opponents, hopefully makes it worth a card.
