Whatever the proper templating, I want to playtest that version to see if it's fun to play. Super tapping's cool, but puts more control in the blocking player's hands. Tapping first before the block fits the flavor of the action of diving down to the battle, so I'd want to preserve the order of operations if able.

As for "how-blue-is-water", I feel like I merntion this a lot, but my top 101 GDS Plane was basically Water World (Abissa). It had White shallow water merfolk, Black Leechmen and Inkcloud dwellers, Red Sharks and seafloor Crabs, and Green seaweed jungles, Whales, and water Wurms. it doesn't make sense to me to showhorn all the biodiveristy of underwater into a single color. I still believe in Water World, for what it's worth.Nich Graysonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08686832423418814443noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5479847193762153273.post-64622227666912765712015-05-27T19:51:24.777-04:002015-05-27T19:51:24.777-04:00I'll do it!I'll do it!P for Pizzahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05000340281390449308noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5479847193762153273.post-3377605022216196782015-05-27T16:14:22.288-04:002015-05-27T16:14:22.288-04:00If someone renders them, I'll review them.If someone renders them, I'll review them.Jay Treathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09428861685923241850noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5479847193762153273.post-83499773104603753252015-05-27T16:14:03.012-04:002015-05-27T16:14:03.012-04:00I agree with all that. So while hybrid has a larger mechanical space than twobrid, much of that space overlaps with the better positioned Multicolor. Hybrid and Twobrid can be used for individual mechanics really well, without needing to be tied to a larger multicolor theme.Nich Graysonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08686832423418814443noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5479847193762153273.post-7233612690784119102015-05-27T15:43:47.157-04:002015-05-27T15:43:47.157-04:00I liked the flavor behind Lurking Mosahk (looking ...I liked the flavor behind Lurking Mosahk (looking for chum to eat) and Submerged Serpent (diving like a submarine.)

The other water mechanic I was working on was a riff on the Green stun ability in Kamigawa Blok, reimagined as the blocking creature taking time to dive down to meet a creature in combat.

Underwater (This can't be bocked except by creatures that tap as an additional cost to block it. They don't untap during their controller's next untap step.)

Does tapping as an act to engage in combat feel like diving underwater to anyone else? Maybe I should have saved the idea for our next Water World challenge (which will probably be May 2016).Nich Graysonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08686832423418814443noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5479847193762153273.post-4930045199791615082015-05-27T15:34:16.153-04:002015-05-27T15:34:16.153-04:00You see twobrid being used with equal frequency to...You see twobrid being used with equal frequency to hybrid?
You might be alone on that.Jay Treathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09428861685923241850noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5479847193762153273.post-27295570824391450122015-05-27T15:31:55.771-04:002015-05-27T15:31:55.771-04:00That's a bummer.
