I like the flavor of this thing churning an input fuel to an output product, but the more I consider the gameplay I see how it doubles down on being good when there are targets and awful when there are not.
This iteration loses that flavor but will be more fun to play:

At the beginning of your upkeep, destroy target artifact or enchantment and draw a card.
Is the intention that you only draw if you find a target?
DeleteThe plan is that it keeps eating artifacts and enchantments until it eventually eats itself.
