I could imagine that if this got oppressive with people using land destruction stuff or show and tell stuff being able to insist on a land would be reasonable. It does add a lot of words to the card.Tommy Occhipintihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13495646355536064735noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5479847193762153273.post-52419256693102223862015-06-11T15:18:21.341-04:002015-06-11T15:18:21.341-04:00Oh I see, my submitted version didn't involve ...Oh I see, my submitted version didn't involve choosing land or non-land, that was discussed in the comments, so I was confused, as I decided not to include that extra text. Most players don't expect to pay for a ten-mana spell with ten-land, so doing that is an accomplishment.Jay Treathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09428861685923241850noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5479847193762153273.post-6952223962334590222015-06-11T14:36:55.219-04:002015-06-11T14:36:55.219-04:00I don't expect it's worth the added wordin...I don't expect it's worth the added wording/complexity to let your target choose land.Jay Treathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09428861685923241850noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5479847193762153273.post-92107012575713192772015-06-11T14:20:12.250-04:002015-06-11T14:20:12.250-04:00It would be an awesome ultimate, but I fear it'...It would be an awesome ultimate, but I fear it's too wordy. I'd rather see this as the ultimate on a planeswalker. Might have to be a pretty unusual planeswalker though.AlexChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05674122775216494431noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5479847193762153273.post-19900916218612851282015-06-11T11:17:47.660-04:002015-06-11T11:17:47.660-04:00I was too busy this weekend writing up an Evergree...I was too busy this weekend writing up an Evergreen Keyword Prediction post on Facebook (which nobody read) to complete the challenge, but I did have an idea all mapped out:

Living Planet 6GGWW
Sorcery
Exile all creatures, then put a */* colorless Planetoid creature token with "all creatures able to block this creature do so." Its power is equal to the total power of the exiled cards and its toughness is equal to their total toughness.
"Some wizards summon beasts to the fight for them. A 10-mana spell that says "Do something. If you control 10 or more lands, do something much bigger and different"? I agree there's an aesthetic quibble with the current wording, but there's another different quibble with your rewording.

It was delightful to read this huge set of epic spells, I definitely agree :)AlexChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05674122775216494431noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5479847193762153273.post-77918897807390294392015-06-10T17:37:46.935-04:002015-06-10T17:37:46.935-04:00I don't understand your comment about land in ...I don't understand your comment about land in Transcendent Syzygy.
