The math I'm talking about is how often we'll see a land that makes us shuffle in our a booster pack. If there are 100 commons, we'll see a Terramorphic Expanse in 1 of 10 boosters, and if there are 54 uncommons, we'll see a member of a 5-card cycle like this in 5 of 18 boosters, almost three times as often. Very roughly. Do we want that much shuffling?Jay Treathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09428861685923241850noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5479847193762153273.post-40839260683892182772014-09-16T15:24:57.627-04:002014-09-16T15:24:57.627-04:00My intent was not to pass judgment on the merits o...My intent was not to pass judgment on the merits of the design, just to offer up the information. Particularly since the comment: "What's the math here? Does a cycle of 5 uncommons cause more shuffling on average than 1 common, or less?" seemed to imply a lack of this information.Benny Dhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00282008647844052345noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5479847193762153273.post-92111309472092045262014-09-16T15:13:36.515-04:002014-09-16T15:13:36.515-04:00No one ever remembers the Mirage fetches.
