How much mileage can we squeeze out of counting how many creatures are in a stack of mutate creatures? It adds a small small amount of complexity to a mechanic that's already drowning in it, but turning many small robots into one giant robot to fight giant monsters seems well worth it.
I like this, though I believe you would template it "This creature +2/+2 for each time it had mutated." I don't think in its merge is supported by the rules.
