I like the Quicksilver Gargantuan idea. The card makes sense as a creature, anyway:
Bundle of Joy 3GG Creature- Human Shapeshifter (Mythic Rare) 1/1 When you cast CARDNAME, search your library for a creature card and exile it, then shuffle your library. CARDNAME enters the battlefield as a copy of the exiled card, except that it's still 1/1 and gains "At the beginning of your upkeep, put a +1/+1 counter on this creature."
Bundle of Joy G Creature- Human Shapeshifter (Mythic Rare) 1/1 At the beginning of your upkeep, put an age counter on CARDNAME. Remove eighteen age counters from CARDNAME and exile it: Put a permanent card from your hand onto the battlefield. "He can grow up to be anything."
You could also base it on [[[Quicksilver Gargantuan]]]'s template, though I'm not sure if that's better.
ReplyDeleteI like the idea, though I don't know if it's broken to search out and deploy creatures whose most dangerous aspect is their abilities, or not.
Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteAlso, I'm sure he'll grow up to be at least 2/2.
Congratulations, Jay! That's a really neat card idea. Oh, and I guess making a human is pretty special too. =-}

Congratulations! I'm sure once he grows up a little bit he'll figure out a cleaner template for the card.
