  1. I always prefer cards that make use of your lands in novel ways rather than just pitching them. Stuff like Landfall; mana sinks and the like; frankly because no one wants to draw a card who may as well be blank.

    I would experiment with more stuff like Dryad Arbor and Cycling; basically letting lands do things even when you are full of mana

  2. I'd be curious to know if a pro would ever put any of these in her deck. They don't appeal to casual players, since we tend not to factor in mana flood in deck building.

    Including them is trading one type of potential dead draw for another. Either I don't need the land I'd draw and can send it out with this, or I do and this is not a card I'll want to use.

  3. Neat! I've always liked me a Nantuko Cultivator. That said, I'd rather the first two just revealed the lands instead of discarding them. Or they just let you discard any card. Basically being short on lands is more miserable than flooding
