3/06/2011 - Armor Angel isn't Beluga Caviar. It's not Lemon-Crusted Lobster nor Peking Duck. Armor Angel is a burger and fries. There's nothing unusual or fancy about it. It's neither terribly healthy nor decadent. It's just a tasty meal that you don't have to think about. Sometimes, that's all a body needs.
Sword of the Paruns with wings! A fun half-lord, it would probably be rare (especially at an aggressive cost of 2WW for a 3/3 flier with upside). I like giving it flying, that makes it more likely you can take advantage of both of its abilities without getting it killed.
ReplyDeleteI like that card. It would be interesting to have its ability also affect itself.
ReplyDeleteI believe I've designed a very similar card in blue, without flying and with +1/-1 and -1/+1 respectively. Getting rid of the minuses makes it a lot cleaner in terms of complicating the board, now that I look at it. You don't have to worry about holding it back for fear of killing an X/1 on your side, or stare at it resentfully as it lowers the power of your blockers.
