Design Challenge #4: You Shoulda Put a Ring on it

Happy Memorial Day, designers!  This week, we're switching things up from our previous challenges.  Instead of designing feasible cards for past or future expansions, your task this week is something that would never see print: a top-down design from another fantasy IP.

You Shoulda Put a Ring on it

J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings is the single work with the greatest influence on modern fantasy literature.  Your challenge is to design a card representing a character, object, location, or event from The Hobbit or The Lord of the Rings.  (Books only, please; no dwarf-tossing cards.)  Judging will be based on successful portrayal of the fictional world using Magic mechanics.

E-mail your card to tweetforcealpha@gmail.com by midnight (Pacific Time) on Friday, June 1.  The winners will be posted on Monday,  June 4.  This challenge is open to everyone.  One entry per person.  Please specify your preferred name or pseudonym.  Entries may be edited slightly for consistent templating.
