6/13/2013 - I'm driving to Origins as you read this, but I scheduled this ahead of time for your viewing pleasure. The thing I'm most conflicted about in this design is the inclusion of the phrase "at the beginning of your next main phase." It makes the card so much easier to use fully, but very likely too easy. It's not like it's a bad card without it.
What do you think?
I would prefer to make it a 3/1 for 2R that gives RRR.
ReplyDeleteOr perhaps: you may cast a red instant card with converted mana cost of 4 or less from your hand without paying its mana cost, to force you to cast it immediatelly.
I am afraid of the combos this card could generate but I like it.
I like what happens when I infernal plunge him. I know I shouldn't like cards like this but I really do.
ReplyDeleteI like the concept, but it's pretty awkward if this guy dies during your main phase.
ReplyDeleteAssume this didn't have the "next main phase" trigger, and instead triggered immediately. Can we break this guy (easily) for infinite mana? Heartless Summoning + Havengul Lich + this guy + a sac outlet (or another Heartless Summoning) does it, but 4 cards is a lot. Can it be done in 3 or 2?
