Goblin Artisans Turns 500,000

Hey folks.
The blog surpassed 500,000 page views today, with a recent average of 15,000 per month. Those are fairly impressive numbers for a site like this, and all the moreso when you consider the quality of the GA community. Thanks to my fellow authors, and to this amazing group of brilliant, creative, honest and supportive designers.

You all rock.

  1. Hooray! When we started this blog 3+ years ago, nobody knew we'd attract an audience this skilled and dedicated. Thank you so much, readers and commenters, for keeping us going strong.

  2. I miss the Challange Reviews lately. Where are those?

    1. They are now done in-line in the comments of the original post. In theory, that only loses a render of the card. I'm eager to hear if there's more you feel we're missing with the new method.

    2. As a visual thinker, I miss the card renders

    3. Likewise. I'm much less inclined to dig through the comments of the thread to see the final version of each card.

    4. I much prefer the in line discussion, though I didn't get a Jay comment last time! I can only imagine that making the renders is hours of work for very little benefit.

In other news, I know I'm relatively new here, but I really love it!

  3. This site is an invaluable resource to me. I am grateful to be allowed to contribute and get feedback from designers I respect. Thank you to Jay, HavelockV, Jules, Chah and all the other organizers and contributors.

  6. I can say without a doubt that the dialog here has been the single biggest factor in helping me improve as a game designer. Thank you all for being a part of that!
