    When ~ etb gain control of target creature with power less than or equal to the power of target creature you control until end of turn. It gains haste.

    1. Nice. I could see that being the archetype-guiding uncommon in Gruul in the set, possibly at 1RG. 2RG if it has haste itself.

    2. This is a lot better than Enthralling Victor, but as a two-color rare I don't think it's too good.

      I like this variation on the ability a lot (though it doesn't need to target your creature).

      I am skeptical if this is really red-green. It's a red power with a fairly green drawback, but it could easily be mono-red.

    2. Actually that's dull.

      Focusing on the Knight Riding the Dinosaur:

      Knight Rider & Kitt 2W
      Creature - Human Knight (C)
      W, T: Dismount (Attach the mount to another creature you control until end of turn and treat the top half as though it doesn't exist.)
      1/2
      ---
      Mounted Creature - Dinosaur
      Mounted creature has +2/+0 and vigilance.

    3. Too clarify

      Knight Rider & Kitt 2W
      Creature - Human Knight (C)
      W, T: Dismount (Attach the mount to another creature you control. Dismount only as a sorcery.)
      1/2
      ---
      Mounted Creature - Dinosaur
      Mounted creature has +2/+0 and vigilance.
      {3/2}

      Ideally this set would come with punch card tokens for mount and dismount.

    4. Can't tell if this is a DFC knight that transforms into a dinosaur mount, or if the mount is a bonus on the first side (etb with its own equipment, in essence) that you can send to another creature.

    5. I think we need to tell the player what this is before we can tell them what else it can be.

      I think this is a creature that comes with an aura attached (on the same face of one card), and that I can choose to sacrifice that creature to attach the aura to another creature. If so, I would label the aura as such and move it to the top half of the card so that the creature's power and toughness can remain at the bottom and be hidden when you slide the card under another creature.

      That dinosaur doesn't look white (not that I'm sure which do), or vigilant, but the knight sure does. Mounted creatures always get typed according to the rider, but most of the abilities represent the mount. In this case, it's the dino that grants vigilance rather than the knight. The +2/+0 part reads well (but not for a white aura).

      I like the idea, but I think the execution needs work and this particular has some flavor/color conflicts.

    1. Solid little red uncommon.
      Not sure how many dinos want to help other dinos, but a little dino tribal is wanted, and the art supports this name and mechanic.
      If we're acknowledging the rider, and this name does, they get the type line.

  4. Apatosaurus Stampede 6R
    Creature - Dinosaur (Rare)

    When ~ ETBs, dinosaurs you control get +2/+2 and gain haste and trample UEOT.

    This was surprisingly hard. I wanted to represent the herder, but I couldn't because riders have a humanoid creature type, not dinosaur. I wanted to represent a stampede or race of different dinosaurs (the card has big, medium and small ones), but I could think of a way of doing that on a dinosaur creature card. I eventually decided that representing the herd of dinosaurs as a single creature was the best way to go. And gave it a good-by-itself-but-awesome-in-a-dinosaur-deck ability.

    1. I expect big-creature-with-overcome to be green rather than red, and I'd tweak the name to be more clearly a creature and not a sorcery, but otherwise, yeah, nice.

    2. Inspired by your idea:

      Apatosaur Lieutenant {1}{G}
      Creature-Human Knight (rare)
      When ~ ETB, you may pay {2}{R} to create a 3/3 red Dinosaur token or {W} to create a 1/1 white Dinosaur token. If you do, repeat this step.

  5. because why not this is zoomed in on one of the chicken sized dinos at the bottom, with one of the feet still in the frame for perspective.

    Hunt Chaser 1GR

    Creature Dinosaur

    Trample

    Whenever a creature is dealt damage hunt chaser deals one damage to target creature

    1. Cropping and zooming is totally legit.

      Surprised to see a chicken-sized dino is a 3/2 trampler, but the ability is perfect. I'd do:

      Opportunistic Eodromaeus {R}
      Creature-Dinosaur (cmn)
      {T}: ~ deals 1 damage to target creature that was dealt damage this turn.
