    1. The only clear purpose of a unicycle is to attach it to a chain and use it as a weapon. This is the hill I will die on.

  2. Now suddenly I want to design a vehicle that could also be equipped.

  3. ...I think unicycle could equally well be a vehicle or equipment, I've seen really excellent implementations of both.

  4. Rosewater admitted he might be wrong on Tumblr about the whole thing because of how players see it. Fun fact.

  5. Question not necessarily to this particular challenge, but how much time were you given for each challenge? As much time as is in between them revealing the results?

Asking because I've been trying to keep up with the challenges myself and the time pressure is insane! :o

    1. Contestants were given challenge details thursday afternoon, had until midnight sunday evening to turn it it, and then had ten days of offtime before they found out who was eliminated and what the next challenge would be. There were 3.5 days to do each challenge, but much more of a gap between them, making the pacing a little more tenable (I'd imagine).

    2. Cheers for the response :) That's still a very short timing window, but at least it reduces the risk of getting a bit burnt out on designing.

    3. I, personally, would have happily traded being more burnt out on designing for not having 10 full days of agonizing about whether or not we’d been eliminated. I slept so poorly for months. :/

    4. Indeed.
Not knowing when the challenge would come, or when potential elimination might come didn't help.
