  1. It's a fine engine, but it feels like it's the type to be either "infinite" or 0. Not sure how to mediate that. I'd consider just rewarding scrying as a named specific action, wherever the cards go, maybe.

    1. How does this go infinite?

You can't just play it with the set's version of cascade?

    2. My inclination would be to play it with Lim-Dûl's Vault to gain lots of life and stack the entire deck. But that's not "infinite", just more than a cascade for the entire deck.

I would want this card to have "2, T: Scry 2" so that it would have a way to trigger itself.

  2. I love the trigger, but I'm not sure about the effect. It doesn't feel exciting or interesting enough for the innnovation in what this cares about, you know? If we're exploring really cool new space, I think it warrants cool effects! :)

  3. Wheel of Sun and Moon's new best friend.

    Would build around.

  4. It's a cool build around for certain. Granted I'm not the most knowledgeable person when it comes to the Wizarding World, but I don't see the sorting hat performing its core function here - sorting students into houses. There's bound to be some abstraction when transferring a pop-culture idea into the game, but I think the theme is missing the mark here. The effect is definitely a solid one with a different theme nonetheless.
