The first one doens't really look interesting in flavour. Why don't you try this: If [cardname] attacks, he get's +1/+1 until EOT for each attacking creature you control. If during the attackphase, [cardname] doens't attack, all attacking creatures get +1/+1 until EOT.
You can replace the second part of that ability with a tap activated ability. It has easier wording and I think that I like that it can combo with vigilance and untap effects.
Which is which?
ReplyDeleteBattlefield Ruler feels slightly strong for a rare to me, and Conqueror King slightly weak for a rare.

The flavor matches the art. He's sitting on his throne, overlooking the battlefield, as opposed to getting dirty himself.
