Kasmina's Transmutation, and so on. They often make their target useless for attacking, but leave it able to block. That can be a major drawback-- for example, if the target is
The Locust God or a Commander or another creature with built-in recursion-- so I decided to make a version that plays somewhat differently.
The idea is that the target is removed for good, but only as long as you're willing to pay 3 life each turn (or dedicate a 0/X blocker). That should give Turn to Vapor's controller more agency and reduce the feel-bad of having to attack into a "free" Lignified blocker.
