  1. I love Multiwrench but it concerns me that it is a much better Manamorphose and that card already sees a great deal of play in super degenerate decks!

    1. It's also a step above Chromatic Sphere. Have it cost 2 or ETBT helps, but especially with ETB mana gain, any amount of eggsy recursion is asking for trouble.

    2. It's not strictly better than Manamorphose, but yeah, ETBT makes a ton of sense here.

  2. Multiwrench should ETBT (like Terrarion).

Forgetting Desk is an interesting card, but I worry it's caught in a limbo space where it isn't immediately appealing enough to either spike or Jenny (Spike because there are already plenty of 4 mana artifacts that will draw an extra card guaranteed, Jenny because the carrot doesn't seem quite big enough)

    1. Serious Jennys think up ways to use cards in exile (mistborn sphinx) or to profit from removing cards from your deck.

  3. What if Forgetting Desk gifts'ed the cards on a success?

Search your library for four cards with different names. Target opponent names a card. Exile the cards you found. If none have that name, and there were four of them, that opponent chooses two of the cards and puts them into your hand. Then, shuffle your library.

To pull it off, you've got to find four cards you might want, elude the guessing game, and then be happy to get just two of them (without any in the GY). A bigger carrot with deckbuilding implications, probably just for a Commander product, more than likely.

  4. First thought on seeing Multiwrench: "Wow, would that be good in Eggs!"

Second thought: "Wow, would that be good in every deck ever!"

This little guy is basically "Your minimum deck size is reduced by 1" with mana-fixing, Storm- and Affinity- enabling upside.
