Scope looks weak to me. It’s pretty much just a worse fateseal, with potential upside for your opponent. I don’t think one can fix fateseal just by making it require a heavier mana investment.
No worries. Fateseal (mechanic, not name) really fit the flavor of what I was going for here, but it's infamous for its unfun-factor. This is a little fiddly, but makes for a fun minigame. Numbers can definitely be tweaked here, but I wanted to get idea to paper before I start to refine any of these mechanics.
