As much as I'd love to avoid the textiness, this really ought to grant the creature a triggered ability. It's really weird to speculatively choose the target ahead of time, especially given the flavor.
As for the basic concept, I like this quite a bit, but I think it would be better if it only hit creatures. As is, the ability rarely triggers because you take more damage than if you didn't block.
Inhuman Rage 2RR Sorcery Target creature you control gains Trample, Haste, Doublestrike and Intimidate until end of turn. At the end of turn, sacrifice that creature.
