Akki Rockspeaker exists, but it was never any good an BTE wasn't broken, so this should be safe. Moreover, it should be a bit more fun to get to explode out of the gates without the other player just feeling hopeless like they often did against double BTE draws because the clock was so fast.
Well aware of Akki Rockspeaker and Priest of Urabrask. The goal was to make a common goblin that paralleled Elvish Visionary's this-only-costs-half-what-it-seems.
Way, way too good in its environment where lands can generate multiple mana. It probably wouldn't be too good in most Standard formats (except currently we have Nykthos).

ReplyDeleteIt's just that two mana 1/1s make me sad. Am I underestimating the ability?
A bit, this is pretty close to Memnite, but 1/2 would also be fine developmentally speaking.
