Cool Card Design of the Day 9/10/2014 - Was thinking how Goblins are the most common tribe to get tribal mechanics in any given set, and wanted to explore a way to turn that on its head. Meadhome Guardian could be {2}{W} and even common, depending on the set.
Considered that. Might be right. Goblins are used to being made to attack, and I'm okay have a bit of downside here considering how well it works in theme. But yeah, maybe the other way.
I would rather something like "Goblins that attack in this way don't untap during their controllers next untap step" to communicate that the goblins are drunk.
"Goblin creatures your opponents control..."?

DeleteI'm not in love with the second line of text.

Hmm. I was just going for "I can block and kill two 1/1s each turn" but I love the idea of tying the name in and getting the gobbos drunk.
DeleteOkay. So I had no problem with the second ability until Tommy put up this suggestion. Now I demand a change. DEMAND I TELL YOU.
DeleteOn the other hand, I think a WW 2/3 that can block an additional creature would make a great uncommon.
