Eternal Analysis 015—Endurance & Stun

Endurance is Eternal's vigilance, and stun is its super-tap, but their implementation and relationship are worth talking about.

CCDD 092817—Swashbuckler
Cool Card Design of the Day9/28/2017 - What if Ixalan hadn't pulled back so far on vehicles? One of the pirate mechanics could have been to work well with vehicles. I felt a little bad making just another Spireside Infiltrator but then I realized I wanted a slightly different effect. You see, at the time you tap an Infiltrator to crew a vehicle, it's trigger resolves before that vehicle becomes a creature, so you can't use "target creature you control gets BONUS until EOT" on the vehicle you just crewed. But if you make a static effect while your creature is tapped, then it affects your vehicles (and itself, and your other pirates).

CCDD 123015—Despondency
Cool Card Design of the Day12/30/2015 - This effect is in blue's color pie, but it fits this flavor so well I wonder if it's not worth the bleed. Could alternately be {UB} in the right set.

Cool Card Design of the Day4/13/2015 - What if Crippling Chill could only target a creature that's already attacking?

Cool Card Design of the Day8/13/2014 - This is the other card with this art I felt was worth sharing.
I'm on the road to GenCon as you read this. If you're going and want to meet, your best bet to find me is at Games on Demand.

CCDD 081214—Mina, Dreamweaver
Cool Card Design of the Day8/12/2014 - This design didn't fit the requirements of the Weekend Art Challenge, but I liked it well enough to share. Originally she just had the second ability, but the first ability was a nice fit, gives the card clear internal purpose, and doesn't increase the power level as much as it might seem.
