Cool Card Design of the Day3/15/2017 - Vampire Nighthawk is the new let's-make-callbacks-to-this-broken-card card. Deathgaze Cockatrice, Insatiable Harpy, Aerial Responder, and Gifted Aetherborn are all examples. So here's another, in vehicle form.
The justification for this being cheap and colorless is that it doesn't grant you any power like other vehicles do, it just turns 2 of the power you do have into deadly, evasive, race-winning power. (And actually costs you power when you only have a 3/3, etc.)

I feel like Skulk is a bad choice but Prowess is probably too strong on Sky Elemental. Aren't a lot of viable keywords in blue.
The spider would be cool with just reach, lifelink, deathtouch.
ReplyDeleteDon't think it could be mono green, as it doesn't get lifelink. (Which is odd thinking about it, as it gets straight lifegain spells, and is the creature color, but.)
